CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY INC., ANNOUNCES THE MODEL 6260H GALVANOMETER

A High-Performance Galvanometer Scanner for Very Large Apertures is a price/performance breakthrough.

Lexington, MA and Munich Germany, CA. June 19, 2007– Cambridge Technology, Inc., the market leader in galvanometer-based optical scanning technology, today announced another product innovation for large aperture scanning applications. The 6260H, the latest addition to the CTI 62xxH Product line of moving magnet galvanometers is optimized to provide maximum performance for 50mm, 75mm and greater apertures.  Owing to Cambridge Technology’s highly successful 62xxH actuator and position detector innovations, the 6260H brings a price/performance breakthrough to large aperture applications.

"Remote welding applications have been pushing the apertures to larger sizes while simultaneously demanding cost-effective scanning solutions" remarked Redmond P. Aylward, President of Cambridge Technology, Inc. "While our moving-coil scanners have been adequately serving this application for many years, the 6260H is designed specifically to address the price/performance requirements of new welding applications”.

Priced substantially less than the CTI flagship 6900 large aperture scanner, the 6260H is available now in sample quantities, production quantities in Q3-2007.
