The Leader in Galvanometer-Based Laser Scanning Components Opens Southeast Asia Logistics Center and Adds Taiwan Representative

Cambridge, MA, August 9, 2004 – Cambridge Technology Inc., the market leader in galvanometer-based optical scanning technology, today announced the official opening of their Southeast Asia Logistics Center, operated by A & P Instrument Company, LTD of Hong Kong and the appointment of Veego Corporation of Taichung City, Taiwan as their local product distributor for the Republic of China.

In addition to their years of experience in our galvanometer and servo technology they have completed in-depth service and applications training here at our Cambridge, Massachusetts facility. We are happy to announce our next growth phase by establishing the Hong Kong logistics center to provide inventory, service, and applications support for China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia”.

As a further extension of their commitment to growth in Asia, Cambridge Technology also announced the naming of Veego Corporation of Taichung City to represent Cambridge Technology products in Taiwan. “Combining the Veego team with the support of the Hong Kong logistics center will provide our customers in Taiwan with strong technical support and fast deliveries of Cambridge Technology products direct from Hong Kong inventory,” said Red Aylward, President of Cambridge Technology, Inc.
