Galvanometer-Based Optical Scanning Technology Leader Selects Industry Veteran to Head U.S. Western Region Sales and Support Center

Cambridge, MA, October 23, 2003 — Cambridge Technology Inc., the established leader in galvanometer-based laser scanning components, today announced the official opening of their U.S. West Coast sales and support office located in Auburn, CA., and the appointment of Amanda Dobbins as U. S. West Coast Regional Sales Manager. Amanda brings several years of optics and laser component sales and engineering experience to Cambridge Technology's sales and account management team.

Amanda joins Cambridge Technology from Semrock, Inc. where she held the position of Regional Sales Manager. She has also held the position of Regional Sales Manager at Spectra-Physics and Coherent Optics. Amanda holds a B.Sc. in Physics with Space Science and Technology from Leicester University, England.
