Wins ILDA 2004 Hardware Product of the Year AwardCambridge Technology's Newest Scanner 6215H Voted Hardware Product of the Year Among Laser Display Products at International Laser Display Association ConferenceCambridge, MA, November 8, 2004 – Cambridge Technology, Inc., the market leader in galvanometer-based optical scanning technology, today announced it has won the 2004 Laser Display Hardware Product of the Year Award at the ILDA Conference which took place last month in Las Vegas, NV. The award was presented to Cambridge Technology at the ILDA Awards Banquet Dinner, an annual event in which achievements in laser design and technology are recognized by the ILDA members. The voting process is based on product innovations and advancements for the display industry that were showcased at the Advanced Technology Workshop (ATW) during the ILDA Conference which was part of the Entertainment Technology Show (LDI 2004) in Las Vegas, NV. At the ATW, Cambridge Technology's Steven Krusemark presented an overview of CTI's laser display products and the performance advantages of using the newly introduced 6215H Closed Loop Galvanometer Based Scanner in a laser display system. In addition to the 6215H, CTI's presentation and product demonstrations included new price/performance standards from the CTI 6800HP Scanner with the newest Servo Driver Boards, the highly compact 677XX and dual axis 673XX, the DC900 Digital Servo and the 671XX LS, laser show driver configured for wide angle 60K PPS operation. Cambridge Technology also announced the availability of this product mix in specialized Laser Show (LS) Packages. The LS Package Series will include lower cost 30K performance configurations as well as higher performance, 60 K configurations. The company plans to have these available during the first quarter of 2005.
